Winter capacity when towns need it most.
Snowfall and our trusted independent plow partners serve towns across Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, and the Pawtucket RI area (Pawtucket / nearby Blackstone Valley), ready when the storm hits.
Mission
“We bridge towns and independent contractors across New Hampshire and Massachusetts so winter response operates as one.”
— Nathaniel Dale
Challenge
Intense storms
Concentrated pressure on crews, roads, and emergency ops.
Peak demand
Fierce competition for contractors when New Hampshire and Massachusetts towns need them most.
Rising costs
Equipment, labor, and insurance climb — permanent fleets alone aren't enough.
How it Works
Path A · Town-led
The town holds the contract and terms, then networks and subcontracts regionally. New Hampshire and Massachusetts towns and contractors plug into the same readiness system. Fleet confirmed by November 1.
Path B · Snowfall Command Center-led
Snowfall Command Center holds the contract and terms, then deploys independent winter resources. Towns and contractors in both states plug into that same readiness system. Fleet confirmed by November 1.
We expand municipal capacity we don’t replace local crews. Pros: strategic capacity for the hardest-hit corridors; a private-sector bridge that complements municipal crews; local seasonal jobs; cost-effective surge without owning every asset; extra support when crews are overwhelmed. We mitigate: liability barriers with clear contracts so private crews can safely help; insurance pressure so small operators stay available; high-impact storms that exceed normal municipal reach. New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Meet the founder
Nathaniel Dale
Founder, Snowfall Command Center LLC
Nathaniel Dale founded Snowfall Command Center to give Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire towns what every winter demands: ready, reliable capacity when the storm arrives. Snowfall connects municipalities with independent plow contractors, and it pairs AI-assisted matching and dispatch with human judgment so local operators are organized, documented, and on the road when their communities need them most.
That approach comes from years in regulated, high-stakes operations. Before founding Snowfall, Nathaniel worked in biotech manufacturing and research at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline, Moderna, and the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. There he led aseptic process simulations, ran teams of four to ten people, and worked closely with quality assurance to keep every batch record accurate and every operation audit-ready. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Emmanuel College and is a co-author of published research on single-molecule DNA methods.
At Snowfall, he brings that same discipline to winter operations: clear procedures, careful documentation, and readiness well before the deadline. The result is help that towns and partners can count on, because it is local, accountable, and ready.
